This app allows employees who work in large enterprises to have lunch together. The purpose is to facilitate people to have a more productive and relaxing break for lunch than to eat alone at their desks. It also allows employees to pick any of the topic based on their interest and time of day, and then join the event. Using this app an employee can create

  • Ad hoc events with a group of co-workers.
  • Executive/Management can create employee events.
  • HR department can use for events, control, and statistics.

Project Scope

Our client wanted to build a mobile app platform that encourages employees' engagement in large enterprises. An application that should connect employees of the same organization to meet with each other over lunch or in some small events. The platform had to be scalable enough that it would allow management to create multiple events and at the same time allow employees to respond to specific events easily and quickly. The project involved developing a highly intuitive application on two of the most popular mobile platforms, iOS, and Android using React Native which is the most advanced cross-platform mobile app development framework.

Solutions

As the application was needed for iOS and Android both so we had decided to go for React Native framework using a single code base to develop native apps for iOS and Android platforms. Our app development team had built an application using an intuitive user interface to maintain consistency throughout both the platforms and includes seamless backend integration.

Key App Features

  • Login/Signup - Allow login through LinkedIn or email ID. For sign-up, users just need to fill in a few basic details like name, company’s name, email, etc.
  • Dashboard – Allow employees to view all the upcoming and on-going events with complete details like event topic, venue, schedule (date/time) and the name of the other attendees.
  • Push Notifications – To update employees with the latest events or upcoming events.
  • Calendar Integration – To keep hold of events dates and times.
  • Chat Option - This feature allows you to chat with other employees going for the same event.
