Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Email Filter Add-on (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Email Filter Add-on is a Gmail Workspace extension designed to help users manage incoming emails by automatically labeling and archiving messages from unknown or unrecognized senders. The Service provides filtering based on sender domain, user interaction history, and safe sender preferences.

3. User Eligibility and Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for managing your Safe Sender list and reviewing filtered emails.

4. Freemium Model and Subscription

The Service offers a freemium model where users may filter up to 250 emails per month at no charge. Once this limit is reached, filtering will be paused unless the user subscribes to a premium plan.

Premium access includes increased or unlimited filtering, additional features, and priority support. Subscription payments are handled securely via Stripe or a comparable provider.

5. Billing and Cancellation

Premium subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

If a subscription payment fails or is not received on time, your premium features may be suspended or downgraded to the free plan.

6. Data Handling and Privacy

The Service processes only necessary email metadata (such as sender address, domain, and user history) and never stores or accesses the content of your emails. Use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, and content included in the Service, including logos, software, and UI design, are the property of the developers or licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or effectiveness of email filtering. We are not liable for any lost, misclassified, or improperly archived emails, nor for damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the Service following such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service. Upon termination, your access to premium features will be revoked and any associated data may be deleted.
