The application is an online cloud-hosted storage solution that helps users to upload and store all their important documents and files in a safe and secure online place. This application acts as a personal online documentation safe with different category storage options that allow easy access to documents like insurances, wills, photos, IDs, videos, medical information, etc.
This password-protected Android application comes in 3 variations depending on the amount of hosted space users would require, as per their storage needs.
The client needed a solution in the form of an Android mobile application that allows users to safeguard their confidential data and other important files online. The client always wanted this application to be intuitively easy to use and learn so that users with less-technical knowledge would be able to make the best use of it.
The major challenge with this project was to deal with security issues and ensure all the saved data can only be accessed by the rightful user with authorized ID and password. Also, as the application itself is for storing confidential data so we needed to make sure that the stored data can’t be accessible even by the app owner and his team.
To begin with the project, we’ve decided to build the application using the Native platform as the client wanted it for Android users only. Also, to serve the main purpose of the application, we’ve used Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a cloud hosting solution for storing confidential documents, files, images, videos, will, funeral policy, etc. We’ve used Amazon Web Service (AWS) as it is considered to be the best for safe and secure cloud storage.
